    Your right Doug, I think when I snagged it from MINI they had the date wrong cause it had only been up for like an hour when I saw it. I should have checked it.

    That sounds like a plan, may have to look into doing that as well. Not very often one gets a chance to get out on IMS.

    UPDATE ON Date and Time

    There has been an Update in the Date and Time of the Lap around the 500 Track, the Lap will now be on Monday Aug 9th at 4:30, with the lineup from 2-4pm that day. There is also going to be a BBQ afterward. This will be alot easier for everyone to leave on Tues.

    The Barbecue will take place @ Dreyer & Reinbold MINI from 6:00-8:00 on Monday night.

    As Way mentioned the lap around the track is great fun. Four years ago there were around 400 MINI's on the track and it would be great to break that number.

    UPDATE Information on MTTS 2010 Indianapolis


    Monday August 9th
    Indianapolis Motor Speedway: (gate 2)
    2:00-4:00PM staging cars for lap around the track
    4:30PM start lap around track
    5:00PM (after lap around track) Indy Landmark Drive to Dreyer & Reinbold MINI
    6:00-8:00PM Barbecue Diner @ Dreyer & Reinbold MINI (Famous Dave's BBQ)

    Tuesday August 10th
    Brickyard Plaza
    8:00-9:00AM Rise and Shine Rally to St. Louis, drive off 9:00 AM

    Menu for the Dreyer & Reinbold MINI Barbecue after the lap around the IMS track will be as follows:

    Pulled Pork
    Pulled Chicken
    Baked Beans (with a kick)
    Cole Slaw
    Corn Muffins
    Buns for both Pork and Chicken
    Iced Tea, Sweet and Unsweet
    Lemonade
    Fried Biscuits and Apple Butter (and Indiana favorite)

    For anybody attending the Indy stop, you can buy an event t-shirt designed by Rally of Stance Design . Proceeds are being donated to charity in support of MINI's Motoring Hearts program. The cost will be $15 each or two for $25.
