While we are off topic, talking about audio inputs to the stereo...
My new car (not a MINI) has an aux-in jack in the glovebox, as well as a 9v power outlet. I got a Griffin BlueTrip and it saved me several thousand dollars in NAV additions (it only comes in a $3k option package). I can play Bluetooth music through it and Google Maps on my iPhone gives turn-by-turn instructions that stream in via the Bluetooth audio input (or if I have it disabled, it will connect into the Bluetooth 'phone only' connection to my car and play turn-by-turn audio like an inbound phone call that I don't have to click 'answer' for every time.

Love it!
Amazon reviews say that the microphone is crap for phone calls... not an issue for me as my stock radio does that for me very well. It give me a great way to get phone audio into the stock head unit.
