Gnat was in a photoshoot tonight. Had to be washed first. Thanks to Dave.0 Gnat was looking spiffy. Dave.0 getting a wheel cleaned. The drying process. Yes, that is a leaf blower. Bionic Clown Shoe sighting.... Now that is some dish!
Woohoo...Isn't that just so shiny The view this afternoon while relaxing in a rocking chair on the Detroit Tuned cabin porch.
ye olde shiny blown gnat oh fark, what the hell am I doing in Minnesota!? #!*%@& <inserts Sarge's Beetle Bailey profanity here> Nice pics Nate. FWIW - I wear my Gnat rebuild t-shirt most every Saturday... so I'm happy to see such a shiny goodness. (Thanks Dave O) Post a sound clip of the wee beastie running the Dragon. That'll be inspiring to many. :beer
yep, looking at the rain chances for today and Thu, I got as many runs in on Tuesday as possible. about 10 each on the Dragon and Hellbender(is there any road around here better than 28 for pure, wide-open fun??). I was whipped by 6:00, after 1.5 tanks of gas and plenty of rubber removed from the PSS's, I called it a day. Never saw a single LEO all afternoon long. Most everyone was really good on the Dragon, using the pullouts, except, as usual, those chumps on the cruisers. Will not move over no matter what....so I used the pull outs myself to cool the brakes and enjoy the sunshine. I really think they believe that 129 is their own private parade route. Oh and it wouldn't be the Dragon without a few locals towing their boats and coming 3 feet onto my side of the pavement. I have been here before pulling my 12 foot enclosed motorcycle trailer and I can confirm that towing does not require crossing the double yellows on the Dragon if you are paying attention. I got passed by two R53's hauling the mail (no, one of them was NOT Dave 0!). That was a beautiful thing to watch. Looked like they were glued to the pavement. Cruised by Fontana a couple of times and it still looked like a ghost town. Guess most everybody is arriving today!
Some of today's action here at MOTD For those wondering what this years sticker design is.... Some of the Daily Toggle authors. Far left is James Day, the woman pictured is Jen Lane. The others I not know. The expressions one captures by accident can be rather funny. That's Barry (snooter) with the balloon along with Marzo and Ryan of Helix fame. I'm sorry, I forget the womans name. Classic and GP The crack T-Shirt crew L-R Xiek, Bill (Whales) and Carl (CarlB). Thanks for the help, greatly appreciated.
You gotta put names to faces. I recognize many, but not all. Otherwise you could be taking pictures in a Walmart parking lot for all we know.
Will do. I'll also look for a burning F56. That will be a good sign that an inebriated Dave.0 is near.
