Agreed - would like to see that in person. Pics look good. If you have time, try out the "garage" section. You have your other/previous 3 cars. Would be interested in your feedback on the new system. I have some update's I'm planning on doing when I get a few other items off the list. Would love your thoughts (again if you have time/interest)

Love the red color line. Have you noticed that if you change gears while on cruise control, it maintains the same speed and doesn't kick the cruise off when you depress the clutch. Matches the throttle then too.

Mine doesn't. If I kick the clutch while in cruise control it immediately goes to "coast". I just need to hit resume but it doesn't stay on.

I have looked at the Garage section. I want to take time to get good pics of my ride (clean) and add in the details. I will get it in there.

Does it rev match once you pull it out of gear or when you stick it in gear? Can your foot be on the brake too? I've always wanted to try a rev matching car just to see what it's like.

As long as the clutch is fully depressed it will rev match when it senses what gear you're going into.

I got up under an F56 a few weeks ago to do a rear swaybar. The springs and shocks were separately mounted! I know that I'm an automotive noob and have a somewhat deep but very narrow exposure to suspension setups (98% R53), but that was CRAZY!

Agreed.. first car I worked on with seperate springs and shocks was a BMW 325 (E30). Ultimately it did make it easier to change parts etc. But I do clearly remember sitting there looking at it stumped... to this day I cannot say "why" outside of it was different than what I knew. LOL.

That is one strong car to take a hit like that and nothing brake except the tire!

Yea - I remember on time working on an Alfa graduate.. it had straps for the differential... I was dumbfounded. Used the internet to look it up. I thought some person had rigged it. Turns out it’s factory.. can’t imagine working on cars without the internet.

Being an old fart. I'd have to start a search to find the local ____ Guru. The search involved heading to a friends shop & then being sent to another's shop until I found the right guy with the knowledge. If you were lucky he would impart that knowledge to you.

No internet no cell phones, just word of mouth. You kids have it easy these days. ;)

Agreed - when I started the internet was still in its infancy but forums were around (old BB forums)... so that helped. :)

Haynes/Chilton guides were like gold to me.
