I'm thinking I'll just get the blacked out aftermarket unit advertised on the Moss site or a similar unit from another MINI vendor I've used in the past, it'll look OK on my car and serve the purpose at about half the price of an OEM replacement unit. All the local yards and dismantlers don't have MINIs and I really don't want to experiment with an unknown supplier while fretting about my car.
I'm strange in that knowing the condition of my car is less than 100% causes an unusual amount of stress and manifests itself in weird ways (paranoia that someone seeing my car damaged will take the excuse to inflict more damage).
Dang, I wish you'd told me that before I'd ordered a replacement smoked unit from another vendor, I did order the pulsar circuit from your store though Way.
