I have heard of crank sensors going bad before but I have not had this problem with my R53. Good luck with the fix and now you should be up and running in no time.

    Bad coil maybe?

Check the plug on the back of the coil.

    Check the plug wires.

Sounds like it might be time to seek professional help before tossing more money at this. You don't mention where you are located, with that info we may be able to point you towards quality assistance.

I agree with Nathan. No sense throwing money & parts at the car. So far it hasn't worked & it has cost you a lot. Cut your losses & take your MINI to the dealer for a repair or at least a diagnosis. I know that is not what you want to hear, but I think at this point it is sound advice.

Good luck & let us know what it was.

After putting one fuel pump in after the other i have realized that all together i have tried 8 different fuel pump they all seemed to stop working after 2-3 days i could hear the clunk noise instead of the normal feeding noise when the fuel pump is actually working. It crossed my mind the other day that my car was involved in a accident when i had it and maybe the cut out switch could have been triggered and i might need to reset it manually by pressing the button. But where is the cut out switch on a 2006 mini cooper s ?

Thank you very much in advance !

The Inertia switch is located on the drivers side at the rear of the engine compartment.
    Hope you find a fix

What I was pointing out is that the immobilizer has been moved. Possibly those PDF's I posted could be helpful in determining where the unit now is housed.
