First thing is a trip over to Bethania garage for a Hard Dog roll bar then it won't take much to finish the Little Enchilada FM package which will put it at about 200 hp at the rear wheel, at roughly 2500 pounds will not be too shabby......

Actually pick it up this afternoon, the banks were closed yesterday... Interior is like new!

Let me know when you get around to tracking that thing. Looks like a lot of fun to hoon around.

He's no traitor Jim. Just a fellow who wants some of the fun stuff in life. Loved his MINI & is now falling love with his MS MX5. It's not like he traded for a faster horse or something.

It's really funny to think of Mini owners considering the Miata to be their "toy". Wouldn't that be your "OTHER" toy? :-D

Love 'em, by the way. I'd make mine an early pop-up-headlights model with the 1.8 and some "stuff".

Will you be at MOTD with it?

Always good to see you, no matter if in a MINI or not.

Great pick--once my kids are a bit older, I'm seriously thinking of getting an old Miata strictly for spec racing, I have a friend who wants to partner up. They handle unbelievably well, better than the MINI. HP is up to you, you're already hooked up with flying Miata, the Miata even moreso than the MINI is an unlimited platform to tinker and mod...

But the Mini was over 220 hp at the front hubs at one time...and the power delivery of the SC and turbo is totally different..

"200+ RWHP, not bad for a 2400 pound car!" Very nice! It is exciting to anticipate that exhaust update. Hopeful the install goes smooth. Maybe put up a video of the sound if you have a chance.

A while back in the thread minimark asked "How do you like your MS6-GT?"
I like it quite a bit. Love the AWD system on it. Practical 4 door until you choose otherwise. Turbo is not as fun as S/C for everyday driving, but it does pull hard through the revs when I get my foot in it. Point and shoot. :biggrin5:

Looking forward to next steps in your adventure :drool
