Had a great run today. Poudre Canyon, miles of twists, then some 3 digit high plains cruising, followed by some long sweepers.
Do the mad dash home tomorrow.

Lots of MINIs heading east on I-70. Had a guy ask me at a gas station where they all came from. Almost told him Oxford, but opted for the shorter story.
GPS says 4 more hours till STL.

Made it home, I-70 was rather DULL after the mountain twisties.
10 Hrs Denver to KC
lotsie, pleasure meeting you guys,I will try and make some St Louis events in the near future. -
Home...
Just under 12 hours from Glendale, CO to Plano, TX via I-70 and I-35. 868 miles. Not bad avg speed of 72.3 mph.
Passed a heck of a lot of eastbound MINIs in CO and KS too.
The only nasty bit this leg was a bird into the passenger side of the windscreen somewhere in east CO. Blood splatter pictures to follow later. Thankfully the windshield that was just installed not 2 weeks ago has no damage. -

Nathan, it was great seeing you again, and again, and again:lol:. Glad you made it home OK, with only a bird incident
We rolled in at 9 pm our time, 900 some miles, averaged about the same speed as you. Best thing, still got 33 MPG for the whole 2500 miles, with the JCW
.
