Nope no side stripes. Just 2 fat wide stripes (wide red w/black outline) on just the white parts would look cool. (No roof stripes) it looks really cool when its done right. By done I mean from the lowest part of the front bumpers to the windshield glass trim.
I will try and find you a picture of what I am talking about.
I think MiniMark car had hood stripes like what I am talking about one his blue MINI without the side accent stripe.
Here is a car from the M/A garages showing what I am talking about.

I was looking at that as well. I still like the red/black design. Maybe blue/black would work too?

Since your car is white you could really go with any color even Matte pepper white on glossy pepper white.
I like the blue/black idea, but in the end it's all up to you and what you like.
Here a great place to look: http://www.toddsmods.com/portfolio/

I would not do anything on the roof because no matter what you use on a black roof it will fade in the sun and lift off.

The problem is that with buying any sort of body kit, depending on the quality, could cost easily up to $1100 if I want it done correctly.
I think that I want to stick with really basic but only because I'm also not a huge fan of the aero kit (Blasphemy?)
But yeah, I'm looking for the small things to make this exactly what I'm looking for. -

My two cents...if you do any stripe color other than black you should paint the wheel arches Pepper White otherwise you get too many things going at once. I think a great look, which I haven't yet seen, would be British Racing Green (BRG) viper stripes, BRG mirror caps, wheel arches painted Pepper White and have someone vinyl wrap the root in BRG. HOTNESS!

I do actually like the BRG a LOT and considering green is one of my favorite colors... What you've stated all seems very affordable and easy to do, so I have absolutely no issue doing any of that lol -

I hear Plasti-dip is easy, cheap, and long-lasting *kind of* for rims? -

Welp, since the replies have stopped, might as well ask another question while I'm here.
Where do you all buy most of your parts/add-ons for your MINI?
I'd also like to add the large fog lights, obviously functional (since I drive every night on back-roads) or just for the style[Though, not as flashy as Jim's]
Should I replace my factory grille with a mesh-type?
And I've actually talked to a shop about applying the vinyl, quoted $20 at the max lol -

I have bought most of my mods from Aaron at Outmotoring. He has a nice selection of bits, bobs & hard parts. He is one of our forum sponsors & a great guy to do business with.

I'm not a fan of the mesh grilles, but many folks like them. I agree a nice set of lights is a very good thing to have. I use Hella 500 driving lights mounted on Outmotoring brackets. -

Woah. I didn't expect everything to be at such a high price-range for the smallest of things. Although I have no experience on buying aftermarket anything minus headlights for an old '99 Chevy Camaro I had, so for some reason this doesn't surprise me much lol Still, it's all reasonable and I'll probably get small things here and there.

Yes bits & bobs can be quite dear for a MINI. Look around there are some deals to be had on occasion. Some folks really go for it & put loads of stuff on their MINis. Me I was a careful shopper & bought a few things to enhance the performance. I'm happy.

Welp, I've already got the 15% pulley, shorter belt, and new spark plugs on the way.
I still need to decide on the style of stripes I want and after that, leaves me with about $300-$400 to spend on misc. I'm trying to find decent deals but its' hard deciding lol. That being said, I think I'd like a JCW-esque grille. Considering that they're cheaper and I think they look pretty decent. I'm having second thoughts on the color scheme of the car though, thinking maybe black would still look decent.
