This is a 1953 Sunbeam Talbot Saloon.
It was an elegant car, and it included a really nice interior with a rare factory sunroof and radio (which I never tried using) but the driving experience was less than the open top cars. Being a four-door the doors are smaller and it was a bit of a squeeze getting in and out with the large steering wheel. The gearshift lever is small and far forward and it tended to slip out of 3rd gear when gently rolling off the throttle.
Visibility was also reduced due to poor mirrors and the door pillars. All and all, it was interesting, but less fun than most of the other cars.

It was done primarily for the owner's wife to drive, but others get to use it when she does not go with.
it is a 1960 model and among one of the first Herald convertibles built.
Here is a short video of the car on a drive a couple years ago

Thumbing thru these pics it looks like I forgot to include my regular ride motorcycle..
This is a 1974 BMW R60/6.
I got the bike from a friend/family friend who owned it since new. I remember this bike not long after he got it and he started hanging around with my dad (who also rode BMWs in the day)
It had been in storage for over 20 years and when he passed away about 3 years ago I dug it out of his garage, pushed it home and fixed it up to make it my forever bike.
It has well over 100,000 miles (the top odometer digit randomly moves, so I dont know the current miles) and Scott, the original owner made many modifications including additional fork, swingarm and chassis braces, upgraded suspension components, a larger gas tank, and police style fenders and solo seat. I have upgraded almost all of the lighting to LED for better visibility and less power draw. The bike is not fast and the drum brakes dont stop very well, but are ok at a moderate pace. The 600cc engine is comfortable for long stretches at 65-70 and can do a bit more but not too much more.. it is more fun on back roads than highways. It gives me the feel of an old motorcycle, but with the reliability of a more modern bike.
Here is a pic from the day I pulled it out of the garage and a more recent picture.
