Just for the record I did not say that!:lol:

Ok kids, I got an F56S as a loaner car. Big differences I notice are:
The car doesn't handle as well as my R56. It feels sluggish with the power delivery, and when it hits it's not as quick as mine. The turbo sounds better than mine. The interior took a step down compared to the previous versions. I like the led ring around the center, what should be a speedo but is replaced by an ugly stereo/info screen, but i'm thinking that would get old eventually. I have it set on the engine speed setting and it's pretty cool. The "secret" compartment above the glove box is alot smaller than the previous versions, it's almost unusable.
I just don't care for the exterior styling. The care feels HUGE compared to the R56. I will say, it's a good feeling car. It's still fun, just not AS fun. The ride is super soft. No longer sporty feeling. Sportier than lets say, a carolla... But thats not saying too much.
All in all it's a decent car. Would I want one? No. -

The handling of this S not as crisp and quick as the R56. It does ride nice and smooth though, I guess thats a plus for a DD. -
I think the Sports Suspension is now the Dynamic Damper Control option.

There is no sports suspension option in the configurators for an F56 S.

Windows up, it just sounds bassy inside. There's no turbo spool sound. -
I have not driven an S yet. I will have to go test drive one. The doctor said I need hearing ads so I probably won't hear anything, but it will be fun.

me teensy review - F56
(If anything I say isn't "MINI P.C." then never you mind, I am just expressing my opinion)
To me, this IS the really small car with balls of steel. At least my husband seems to think so when he suggest my MINI will out race his 07 Subaru Impreza on the track. SayWHAT!

I !#$*%@G love this car. Every feeling underneath me while I'm in the bucket seat and my hands are on the wheel are titillating and glorious! Okay, maybe that's a little extreme or too personal, HA! Anyway, the gimmicks are the overwhelming electronic features but why I love this car is:
1. Where I live, off 101, which of those of you that do not know, is a country highway. Because of this, green mode while I am on long commutes on cruise control is IDEAL.. the mpg plays in here. Sport for navigating on to the highway and around RVs plays a huge role in the daily driver here. Sport is especially helpful on the many traversing roads of the mountain, love those! Course mid is mid... in town for groceries, etc...
2. The car turns off automatically.... yeah this is pretty awesome... I feel better knowing I don't have to run the engine that whole time, like I am doing my part. I also own a FORD F250 Diesel Power stroke, so I am no hippy... but this is why it makes me feel better about myself. This reason makes my life that much better.
3. Parking. My cooperS is small. All those hard to reach locations or more compact locations, I am in there like swim wear. I mean I get all the best spots, no kidding, i fit. I can easily escape the moon roof if need be right?! Hehe
4. Sporty. I am a sporty vehicle type person, enthusiast. This IS sporty. I feel SPORTY while I drive it. I appreciate it.
Call me crazy, but these are just some things... its a nice day so I don't want to be in here anymore. Im going to go outside and admire my car.
This is the car I hope to have through my 30's, 40's, 50's, and maybe even 60's, unless we have flying cars by then.
And as for the CDs... I haven't used a CD since 2011, because my 98' VW Cabrio did not have the option for usb at the time.

Not really on topic, but I absolutely HATE the fact that our 2015 Jaguar XF can shut off automatically without pushing the override button on the dash.
I'm glad you find it favorable on your MINI though. -
It's not all that bad.
