Just got the nod that the CC'd parts will be available to collect tomorrow. No idea how I'm going to get them fitted though as even MINI don't have a diagram of how to remove the front bumper yet (or so they tell me)
Painted parts.... back to the Bodyshop on Wed to be fitted to the car. Very happy with the end result.
Went out with the camera for a few quick pics in the sun (front plate is now back on since these pics) My favourite pic of the CC'ing Colour Coded Front End Some More…. F56 MINI on Speedline Marmora CC'd front Colour Coded F56 Colour Coded IMG_5327
Quick picture showing the shorter front plate I have fitted - UK road legal letter size and font - just a smaller plate itself
That is a cool shorter plate, it helps the nose of the F56 quite a bit, did you have it custom made or can you get them from the gov? Nice F56, well done I like the white wheels, even if they are a bit hard to keep clean. Don
No - the Gov don't allocate smaller plates Technically this plate is illegal as its not the correct size and also does not display the name and postcode of the manufacturer of the plate. It does however have the correct size and font, so the Police are VERY unlikely to even notice when passing. I had no issues with my smaller plates on my last 2 cars, so fingers crossed!
Can someone do a couple of photoshops for me? 1) bonnet scoop & the thin strip on the grille (the horzontal bar under the S logo) in white 2) just the bonnet scoop in white
Umm, yeah. No offense here but the scoop in white is going to look very cartoonish looking I fear. I can't pchop anything to save my life, I'm just picturing it my minds eye.
I'm debating ditching all the CC'ing in favour of a black grille surround / bumper strip and putting the original gloss black bumper bar back on (the bit where the plate is)? Am I stupid?
