I am not sure. It would depend on what activates the pump. I will have to research that one.

A very short search looks like the pump is controlled by the ECU. If your N12 is not, I would think it would be a very big headache to do it. I am not sure if you can pin it into the ECU or not, even then It would take programing the ECU.

you could give https://www.allmagautoparts.com/ or https://www.detroittuned.com/ a call they would know the answer.-

I appreciate your reply. I kind of figured the oil pump would have to be tied into the ECU somehow. But the particular's are beyond my knowledge.
I will try your tips and see what they recommend.
Otherwise my thought would be to just change out the oil pump from the damaged base engine I have.
Only thing about doing that would be the question?
Is the drive for the oil pump the same on the N-16 engine as the N-12?
IF SO, THEN TO CHANGE THEM OUT SHOULDN'T BE A BIG DEAL. MAYBE ANOTHER QUESTION FOR WHOM YOUV'E RECOMENDED.
Sorry for the Caps! Lock on!
 Thanks,
