So why are people that use IE able to access and those on FF and Chrome still seeing a warning?
FF has a setting to Block Reported Attack Site that is turned on by default. To determine what sites are possibly harmful FF checks with Google. If site is on the Google list you get the warning. Chrome is owned by Google, need I say more?
Google crawls the site daily and if they find malware it raises a flag and the site is reported as containing malware. Google has a neat little tool for us site owners called Webmaster Tools. One item in it shows if there is any reported malware.
From M/A about 2 min ago.
Once the issue has been cleaned from the site one then submits a request to Google to have the site scanned again. If clear they take it off the black list. It can take a day or so for that to happen.
Now you know why some people are seeing the site is still blocked and others are not.

I've been using Firefox and it won't let me in. I'm not even going to try IE.

I'm going to avoid NAM for a while. I tend to like my computer.

Heard of a guy who got a week off because he got an infraction for saying a different MINI website was "lame". Still way overboard with the moderation over there. -

I find it curious that it hasn't been fixed as of yet. Internet Brands won't let it die it makes money for them after all. Maybe they should call the Orkin man & get the cooties removed or better yet Ghost Busters.
-
It's not like the fix is a mystery, there are plenty of other sites that have been hit with the same stuff. A search of the redirect names brings back all kinds of information on how to fix.
At this point I have to think that IB has cleaned the site and that it's just a matter of time until Google removes the site from the blacklist. I've been on there with no attacks reported this morning from my laptop where if worst came to worst I can re-image it. However, you should stay in your comfort zone and if you do not feel warm fuzzys visiting there while Google still has them listed then do not do so because I did.
Now I'm not one to kick a NAM when it is down but what can I say, people are missing their online MINI fix. Have some friends that are not on M/A? Why not try out the Invite feature, send your friends an invitation to join M/A.
If any of the MINI clubs want to discuss what it would take to move over to M/A. PM me, I'll be happy to discuss how M/A can help you. -

It feels like someone changed the locks on my internet home and I can't get in! :frown5:
Maybe I need a second home...here at M/A? -

I have had no problems accessing that site thru IE, and I was accessing it even when the first reported blockage problems surfaced. I like to read the "new posts", and access that site right after I check in on this one.

Hey, Tim. Good to "see" you over here!
I like to give a friendly welcome to all of the new members over there. I suppose I could do that just as well here, too, right?
