MOTD without a doubt is my favorite, that being said last year was the first for me and with the road closed at one end there was no traffic, no big rigs, and only two LEOS that may change in "11" we shall see.
The MITM was very good, but with it combined with MTTS this year there were a lot of changes and drives that did not happen or were conflicting with each other, mainly on Saturday. Winter Park was great and the scenery was as always in Colorado, outstanding.
I am planing on returning to MOTD this year, MITM not sure yet.
Just my opion...
You are closer to MOTD.![]()

I have a bias, so I will let it show. Really do love MITM.
Our WP location change this year will only make it better for 2011.
I attended AMVIV but never MOTD, I can imagine they would be excellent, not sure I would like 30 or 40 MINIs on one road at any one time. But that is just me.
20 or 25 is fine, bigger than that it gets unruly.
So, MITM but I have a pretty strong bias. -
Thanks also, Old81. Anyone done all three (MOTD, MITTM, and AMVIV)?

OFOTD
For me & my co-driver it is OFOTD. Open to all but attended by few. -

For sheer number of MINI's, MOTD can't be beat. Likewise for motoring roads. The Dragon is great, but just about all the surrounding roads are a blast as well.
MINI's On Top up in New Hampsire sounds fun as well, as does MITM and AMVIV. I'm considering making the trek from VA to Vegas for that one.
But first and foremost, MOTD! -
I am starting to get AARP mailings so I may qualify. -

Been to both MOTD, and MITM several times. Both events are great fun, and both have great roads.

MINI's Slay the Sleeping Dragon (MSSD), put on by "The Tar Heel MINI Club" in the fall was very nice. Not much in the way of crowds, nice fall colors, moderate temperatures, 75ish MINI's, open roads, great people (both townsfolk and MINI-folk), easy restaurant / room reservations etc.
Downside..... no MINI vendors.:cryin: -

That would then be OOFOTD. -

I've been to AMVIV, MOTD and MITM.
I'm not a big fan of Vegas, not exactly my kind of town. The drives are a fair bit out of town too so it a commute to get to them. So for me, of the three this is least favorite. I've been twice.
MOTD I've been to 4 times now, I think it's a real hoot. Summer Camp for adults with MINIs tossed in. The entire area is filled with great driving roads.
MITM I've been to twice, once and Copper Mtn, the other at Winter Park. I liked Winter Park a lot more. Colorado is grand, if you have never been it's worth it for the incredible vistas.
All of the events are people centric, I've never had a bad time at any of them. All the people are great. -
Thanks for the input, Nathan. I have actually been to all these places, but in a minivan. :cryin:
