I got an car accident last Friday. A lady drove a car from the opposite way of the on-going traffic and hit my MINI. Luckily, I just got minor injury but feeling sad for my Mini Cooper. It's a MINI Cooper Countryman ALL4 2011, 38000 miles. And the other party who hit my car already admit she was at fault and the lady's insurance company will pay for the total cost for the repair. So I would like to know if anyone can recommend some body shops in Columbus, Ohio. I really appreciate it.
Do you have any high end dealerships (Rolls Royce, Ferrari, etc.) in your area? If you do there's a good chance they don't have a body shop because of the small number of sales they deal in. However, that doesn't change the fact that occasionally they have a need to get some body work done. They can recommend to you the best shops in the area. Don't be surprised if they're some little shop off an alley somewhere. It's the man doing the work and not the shop he works in that counts.
Welcome to M/A! I had a partial tree fall on my R53 during an ice storm while I was driving. My insurance recommended CarStar and I am extremely pleased with the repair. I don't know if there are any CarStars in the Columbus area, but they will be my go-to guys in the future [I'm in Piqua and went to the one in Sidney].
05R50 had his GTI repaired at a shop off of Industrial Parkway outside of Dublin but I can't remember the name. They were great. I'm sure Jeff will be along to tell you or you can PM him.
CSN Motorsports. 8350 Industrial Pkwy Plain City, OH 43064-9372 United States Charlie is the man. Elaine is in the office. They are great to work with. My insurance company had no problems with them. Don't be put off by all the Porsche, Ferrari, and Lambos you will see there. He does do a lot of high end work but he will treat you just the same. I was referred to him by one of the other members here, "iwashmycar", who had a door painted and was happy with the work. Here's a cracked up Lambo he was repairing for the 2nd time. Apparently the car needs s bette driver/owner.
I can personally vouch for True Performance. The worked on my Audi TT when I got most of the front end taken off by a chick in a Grand Am cut a corner while talking on her cell phone. The did amazing work, car looked like the day I drove it off the jot. And all their repairs are covered for the life of the car. Plus they are they only body shop in the state allowed to work on the Acura NSX. Though having my car there made me feel like I was driving a pinto when they gave me a tour of the shop. It was filled with Mercedes, Porches, BMWs and a Ferrari.
Yep. Charlie at CSN did great work on mine. It was just a dented in side door, but the work was flawless and a great match. Also delivered it on time and cleaned up the whole car nicely so it wasnt delivered all covered in dust ect. I believe Charlie started CSN after being with True Performance. They are right down the street from it lol. I guess he had some qualms or something with how TP was being run, yadda yadda. He typically fills you in on the tour
Tis true... Gnat almost has as many shades of the same color, as I have MINI colors on the Rat! However, you need to get closer to his to tell it.
