This should help you get the Mistress up high enough to detail the undercarriage.

    Dohhh!

Sorry guys for confusing you, i should have read the last post. Try this out it works for me. If you have an engine bar or hoist better but if not a jack will do. Pull the motor mount and hang or jack the engine loosen the main nut of the transmission mount, as you loosen the tranny will go down giving you the space you need. Now most of the time i need to change components in front of the engine i just pull the engine out with the tranny and put it on a work table. You would be spending more time and learn how to be a contortionist trying to squeez your hand and tool trying to reach for the water pump for example than pulling the engine. The minis are so tech. Friendly , tit can be compared to a ferrariw , a testarossa for only takes 45 mins to change 4 timing belts.

I know what your getting at :lol::lol::lol: what i meant was how friendly it is to the tech. Just like a ferarri. It takes an hour to pull the motor and actually work on the engine out of the car just like the minis, both engine come out from the bottom , you dont mount the engine on the body for both but mount the body to the engine.thats what i meant:lol::lol::lol::lol:

    Dave:
Thanks for the heads up on the Remflex exhaust gaskets...I was not aware of them, but they do sound like a good idea...Ordered the set of two you provided the link to, and with my Amazon Prime quick delivery option I should receive in time to have this weekend...If things go quickly I may get to the exhaust by Sunday...by sometime next week for certain.
