I figure all these jacks come from the same Chinese jack factory. Only difference is the name on the jack & the color.

EZ car lift. 1700 bucks with the ramps. It lifts with a drill (heavy duty drill, usually in the two hundred buck range but I found a damned good one new for 70 bucks on clearance). Looks like the price has gone up, but there are occasional group buys and sales.
It goes up 26 inches, it's up about 20 inches in those pictures I took today, which doesn't sound like much but it's more than enough to comfortably work underneath the car. I can't sit underneath the car like with a two post lift, but it takes up significantly less space (I park over it, I use it so much and it's so quick I boight the driver over kit for it). It's very sturdy, the car won't budge when it's up, and it locks as it goes up, much more sturdy and safer than jacks, especially at that height. It's easy to move, I usually work in the garage, but if it's really nice out I can move it outside in about thirty seconds.
You can get a good scissors lift for that price, but unlike the scissors lift, there isn't anything going across underneath--the EZ lift gives better access. There are no hydraulics to break on it either, it's basically a mechanical corkscrew that raises it. Very simple, very clever, and very safe. Can't beat how quick I can raise and lower the car.
The downside is I feel it's about 500 dollars too much. On the other hand the materials and support are top notch; the guy that designed and built it did it with the track rat in mind who needs a light, portable lift. People actually bring these to the track, the first one of these I saw was a guy who brought one to Road America in his trailer, and I was impressed how well it worked for him.
Anyway, despite the price, I'm very statisfied with it, I wish I would've bought it a few years ago. Here is link (I have no affiliation with the owner other than as a customer).

I think there are pictures of a MINI up in the gallery. It'll work for multiple cars, although you might need different spacer depending on the width of the car.-

I use the same standard 3 ton jack I use on my wife's Toyota Highlander...
I just drive the mini up onto a couple scraps of 2x6 lumber...and the jack fits fine!!
Call me cheap....but as long as I remember to toss the 2x6 scraps under the tires before I lower it, it works great!! -

+1 on HF, the only reason I'd get it there is usually you can get a coupon for it that knocks the price down considerably. But if you're in a hurry, Amazon is pretty slick, and that does appear to be the exact same jack. -
Gonna put my car up in the next day or two (then probably shipping it to Colin if he has time), I'll post a pic of what I'm using. It's not jacks, and it's not a lift in the true sense of the word, but I really, really like it.
