Here is a picture of it on the car. You con see if I don't move two of the bolts you will not Beatle to get to them. Does this look correct?

No need to move the bolts and modify the hole. That is where mine have been since installation.

Same as the others said, move the bolts and trim the ring on the top of the tower.
Did this long ago in the first build of my R53 with Votschlag plates.-

Move and re-tighten but to get full adjustability you will need to slighty cut the strut towers for access.
That's what I have seen others do with Vorshlag's and other adjustable plates.
It's a small cut the can be done with a Dremel and a little cut off wheel.-

Dave I don't work from a computer at home, I actually do the American thing and, do stuff with my hands and body 30 miles from my house every day that you couldn't begin to comprehend... So yeah, I dont catch everything "new" right away anymore...
Go buff something would you, or is it too cold in your garage?-

I have one last question.
I am taking the car to be aligned today. When I put it together I forgot I had all 4 struts set to soft. I do this for a little better ride. Would it be better to have the fronts set to medium? once its alined I don't want to change them. -

I got tired of the BS and political crap of the Union and went back to school and learned several new skills including computers. I learned to work smarter so I could get much better paying job. My company is an American company and employes of 7000 thousand Americans here IN THE USA. So don't give this real American work BS.
Oh and you have not been too busy run that 35k or less thread.
