No need to move the bolts and modify the hole. That is where mine have been since installation.

 

Same as the others said, move the bolts and trim the ring on the top of the tower.
Did this long ago in the first build of my R53 with Votschlag plates.

 

Move and re-tighten but to get full adjustability you will need to slighty cut the strut towers for access.

That's what I have seen others do with Vorshlag's and other adjustable plates.

It's a small cut the can be done with a Dremel and a little cut off wheel.

 

Nope because you will have plates on the bottom and the other strut tower defenders on top.

 

Dave I don't work from a computer at home, I actually do the American thing and, do stuff with my hands and body 30 miles from my house every day that you couldn't begin to comprehend... So yeah, I dont catch everything "new" right away anymore...

Go buff something would you, or is it too cold in your garage?

Dick I have done the traveling Licensed Union Electrician job before ever heard of IBEW? I worked in several different fields from heavy industrial to working on new construction homes all year in all seasons so I know what real labor is.

I got tired of the BS and political crap of the Union and went back to school and learned several new skills including computers. I learned to work smarter so I could get much better paying job. My company is an American company and employes of 7000 thousand Americans here IN THE USA. So don't give this real American work BS.
