It uses the same fluid damper technology as their standard Damper, but the size is 2% larger than stock to give you that overdrive to spin the supercharger. We did this because we have several customers using the aluminum damperless 2% crank pullies, but with concerns over engine and bearing life without a damper they live in fear. So this will give them an alternative to get that extra 2% and improved dampening to maintain engine life and reliability.
