:cornut:Yeah and adds 3hp and 2ft/lbs of torque:lol::lol::lol::Thumbsup:Thanks for showing us the business end of the stick. Ease of reading makes it worth the money to me(when the R56 one comes out).

These look really awesome, but ouch on the price. Will have to wait a little bit to get one. Would be nice to not have to worry about the dipstick breaking on me when trying to get the bloody thing back in!

I agree, the price is inflated. I think you could make your own dip stick for much less. What would it take? Some piano wire and aluminum stock.

$75.00? Kind of high, I think! Craven is asking too much!

Au contraire... $75 is a fair price for a part like this. Once you break it down and look at all the steps to make it and package it and still leave a little room for some profit $75 is an OK price. This part will never approach iPhone volumes. It's better than the previous design or OEM for that matter.
I'ma also betting it's made in the USA by merican workers..... That's good enough for me. Craven also has a pretty darn good reputation for being innovative and standing behind their work.

Course.... there is always the bent coat hanger wire with a ball of silver duct tape for a pull......:D

    Just my $.02 opinion.

I ordered a raw aluminum one and was going to have it polished. Craven went the extra mile for me and had it polished. These are great parts and well worth the cost. No more ugly orange handle. Thanks Kellen :cornut::

:cornut: This months MC2 Magazine ran a story on checking the oil level in R56s. They used the OEM dip stick and it was quite complicated(at least it was to the author though I haven't found it quite that complicated). As soon as the above manufacturer has one for the R56, I'm buying it.
