Dropped my prescription a few months back. Not worth it for me. Paper magazines are an endangered species.

When the membership benefit of a M/A discount came up, I jumped at it because it was fair value for the magazine. Typically, I would only by a magazine from a store when I find something in it I want to read, or the subscription is so low, I think it good value.
Living in Canada, any US or other foreign based magazine subscription without "politically proper" Canadian distribution rather expensive. In the case of Autoweek, the subscription price is around $100+ CDN per year. The truth is, Autoweek should not be charging so much because they do have Canadian distribution for their magazines. They even print the Canadian edition magazines in the Vancouver BC area. I know because a company I worked for engineers the print equipment for that particular printer.
Yesterday, Autoweek sent me an email of what I was willing to pay for an Autoweek subscription. They gave me choices of anywhere from $10 to $100. So I said $10.
Today, they offered me a subscription for $10 USD. I think that is fair value.
I'm wondering how many of you are still getting Autoweek magazines or if you have let your subscriptions lapse.
My subscription had supposedly expired in April, but I kept getting magazines until August.-

Excellent!

Who else took advantage of this AutoWeek offer?
I did right away, it's about a month later and I've still not seen an issue come in the mail. Anyone else seen theirs yet? -

Did mine the same day as my post......and no mag yet.

Nope me either.

My last issue from the previous MA offer for Autoweek was at the end of June this year. I had let my subscription lapse because without the MA offer, the cost for a renewal to Canada was $82. A bit rich for me.
Since I haven't been able to get on MA forum for awhile (I've been busy and travelling a bit), I didn't spot this offer until today. I just renewed my subscription for $10. At $10, this has WAF (wife acceptance factor).
Thanks for arranging this. -
My first issue was in yesterdays mail dated October 15.

Got the email for the $14.95 too.

They're on to me now. $75 if in Canada.
I won't be renewing next go around. -
Yeah, mine has run it's course, and they want $29.95. Not worth it to me at that price.

Yup, no need for paper magazines with the Internet on everything from tablets to phones. It's only a matter of time before newspapers are gone for good. -

You guys actually PAY for that subscription? OMG. I won a one year subscription while at a British car show about 7-8 years ago and have never been billed since...not that it's worth all that much. Honestly, how can anyone charge ANYTHING for a mag that averages just over 70 pgs., unless it's MC2!
