My apology. I thought they were STILL in business...the business of not supplying their subscribers with their subscriptions. FWI, at least Autoweek DOES still print....

$10 is a good deal. My subscription expired in December and I just went in and they still had all my information. So renewed me for 1 year for $10.

    Thanks.

My subscription should have expired in April but I still received another issue in the mail yesterday.

AutoBiWeek will send you a few extra issues to keep you interested. They'll stop after a month, and then you can send in a new subscription under a different name. That way, you can get 13 months for the price of 12 every time.

My "final" renewal notice came in the mail. Yes...my subscription has expired. Including shipping to Canada, the "special" renewal price is $90.00 USD.

I think that works out to $120 CDN for 12 issues.

When the membership benefit of a M/A discount came up, I jumped at it because it was fair value for the magazine. Typically, I would only by a magazine from a store when I find something in it I want to read, or the subscription is so low, I think it good value.

Living in Canada, any US or other foreign based magazine subscription without "politically proper" Canadian distribution rather expensive. In the case of Autoweek, the subscription price is around $100+ CDN per year. The truth is, Autoweek should not be charging so much because they do have Canadian distribution for their magazines. They even print the Canadian edition magazines in the Vancouver BC area. I know because a company I worked for engineers the print equipment for that particular printer.

Yesterday, Autoweek sent me an email of what I was willing to pay for an Autoweek subscription. They gave me choices of anywhere from $10 to $100. So I said $10.

Today, they offered me a subscription for $10 USD. I think that is fair value.

I'm wondering how many of you are still getting Autoweek magazines or if you have let your subscriptions lapse.

My subscription had supposedly expired in April, but I kept getting magazines until August.
