This should be a good one, I went to the Glen from 1973 through 1977
and it was a remarkable time for f-1 racing, so different from today.

I remember the rising pillar of black smoke and the gut feeling that someone had a bad shunt on track. I've got loads of 35mm slides of the bus carnage but here's a great site with photos to jog the memories from the depths...

I was there in '76 slept in my 240Z during the rain on Saturday. Drove from California after getting transfer there from Hawaii. Got to race there in 2003 with SCCA on both tracks.
