Heh...thats why Motoring Alliance is known as the Friendly MINI Forum.
There are lots of threads in the 1st Gen Suspension & Brake Modification area. That's a good place to start reading. Of course, you are welcome to create your own thread with questions. One thing to keep in mind is determining what you are looking for. A little better on the street, and AutoX winner or maybe a track day monster. Sharing your thoughts with us on what you are looking to accomplish will help the process.

Welcome to M/A....
Nice looking MINI. I think that supercharger may win you over. If not you can go nuts & make it a twin charged MINI.
Enjoy! -

Hello and welcome to M/A.... Nice MINI....
-
Wow by far the warmest forum welcome I have ever had!
Definitely wanting to peer into the performance side of these cars here, I am told this is the right place to come.
I admired these cars for smashing Miatas to pieces at local SCCA events. Naturally, given my car history I am heavily interested in seeing what I can squeeze out of one of these as far as performance is concerned!
Point me in the right direction to start off with suspensions? -
The Georgia Mini Auto Club welcomes you!
Nice looking MINI! Although you are gonna HAVE to do something about those floor mats!

Trust me once payday comes she is going to get a hefty online parts order lol. -

Awesome thanks, is it possible that you guys could chime in as to which forum is really known/good for what?
I know in the Miata world, Miataturbo.net was for the gearheads and race cars, clubroadster.net was for the flashy/stanced/slammed cars, and miata.net was for the more mature crowd that just liked miatas and not really modifying them.
Just trying to get my direction here as to which forum is known for what if they can even be classified as such? -

Tar Heel MINIs can be found at Tar Heel MINI Motoring Club. Our outreach must not be working too well if you haven't found us yet! :cryin: Look forward to seeing you join us!

Joining the forum is part of membership or is there a completely separate process for becoming a tarheel mini member?
