Now's the time to run that line, if you're going to - that's for sure.

And linesmen don't like getting zapped while trying to fix a broken line either!
Not to mention trying to run the whole neighborhood off your poor little genset thru the backfeed.

If you put the dryer plug just inside your garage door, you can put the genset outside - you don't want to run it in the garage. Also, if you hook up a welder, same thing....

    It's done!!!

This happened last week, all the concrete got poured, and we are parking in the garage. Which was a good thing, as we had lots of freezing rain/sleet/snow this past week.

Some insulation and one of those 220V motel type A/C-heater units will make that a real year-round man cave!

Looks like they did a really nice job on the flatwork too....congrats on getting it done at last.

Of course, now you have that much more driveway to shovel when it snows! :D

Insulation and drywall are first on my list. Going to build a lean-to shed on the back for lawnmowers and such to keep the garage as uncluttered as possible.

Before I went away last week I hired the concrete guy to come and get rid of the ice/sleet/snow. It took him 2 hours to get that stuff off. Took me about 1/2 a hour yesterday to clear about 4" of snow off it. A snowblower is on the list.

She's beautiful. When that Bobcat goes is the tree going to fall over? From this angle looks like there's a rope attached to the equipment, holding up the tree

The tree belongs to the city, so now we just wait for it to die, they pay to remove it, and we make the driveway bigger:Thumbsup:

I've heard copious amounts of salt are not good for trees. Maybe next time it freezes up you should be sure to sprinkle liberal amounts at the base of the tree just so nobody slips ;)

Trees that aren't dying are good, otherwise not so good.
