Latest I heard is that it will be 500 cars to the US. Every dealer will be getting ONE GP to sell. Then original 2006 MINI GP owners, not just owners, only original owners will be given a 1-800 that they will get first dibs to buy the new GP for the first couple weeks they go on sale. After that MINI will open the 1-800 for anyone else that wants to order one of the remaining available cars.
Interesting... There is a possibility then that there may not be enough GP's to go original owners should all of them decide they want one being each dealer gets one first. Approx 110 dealers 422 Original GP owners. 500 Cars...
I feel like this is going to turn into a Black Friday-esque sale once the original GP owners say if they want one or not.
