Everytime I see this thread , I worry theres gonna be a rumble in the mid-Ohio area.

LXM is drama ridden. Left there along time ago.

 

I put my google-fu to the test because I have no idea what LXM is and all I found was the guitars. Oh well.

 

LXM is simply a Facebok page for self-flagellating MINI owners. Some very strange folks there......

 

The Guy who calls himself john Cooper aka shawn P. Raney contacted me through COMO. His Goal is to start a LXM group here for Classics and newer models. I told him we already have a old and new group and don't need a third. The Group is meeting this Sunday and I though about going just to see what is going on. FYI

I'll go over with you, man, if you want to use the Buddy System. My experience with car groups is that you can often find good people participating, even if the organizers are... well... not so good, so who knows?

As for Sunday, my wife and I will head to the LXM meeting. Having been in Ohio all of a month, always looking to meet more peeps that are into MINIs.

 

I found it quite interesting that the the 2 or 3 times we met him he gave a different name each time. One time he told Babs his name was one thing & then told me another. Just kind of fishy.

From what I remember the person he ripped off was a police officer. That just might have had something to do with his doing the right thing & repaying the money he scammed.
