The factory liner was sagging and peeling around the edges so I finally just gathered the strength to tackle this project. It was a lot harder laying the fabric on than i thought it would be but it came out pretty straight so I can't complain!

Okay honestly it was a pain in the butt trying to keep the fabric straight and from wanting to wrinkle. But I did the best I could and tried to hide my mess ups. I love it though. Its the first interior mod i have done of the sort to any car and I think i did good for my first time.

Not to shabby:Thumbsup: Definitely original. I have a question if you don't mind. In the sixth picture is it looks like you striped off the foam, did you replace it or just attached the material straight to the shell?

Great job, Tummi! I admire your courage for putting fabric w/ geometric print that needs good alignment. That makes it way more difficult than the stretchable matte leatherette I did!

No, you need not put a foam layer back, but you can if you opt. I ski[pped that fearing it might deteriorate again.

If you buy headliner material, it has the foam already glued to it....just FYI for those contemplating doing this on their cars.

Tummi, what the heck are those orange things?

I stripped off the foam and then just applied the new fabric straight on there. It already had like a layer of felt or something of the sort it was the same thickness as the stock liner + the foam. So it worked out great. Has a factory feel.

The whole project cost me around 60$.

Haha yeah I am rocking the Lt. Dangle sun glasses :D

Oh those orange things? Well those are headless chickens duh! ;)

And thanks to everyone's comments! Glad to see everyone likes it!

I just pulled my headliner. I used a brush and a shop-vac and got rid of all that old cruddy foam liner. The headliner board is still a bit "tacky". Is it ok to spray the adhesive on that? i don't see a way to clean all the residue off cardboard. any ideas?
