    Install is pretty easy...

torx driver to remove the aux instrument cluster, and phillips to take out the screw that hold the thing together. the one for the central speedo on the first gen cars or the chrono pack doesn't even take any tools!

It's shocking how much better they look. This is the dual gauge cluster. I did one with the A/R stuff, and one with the stock piece. I even washed the stock piece so that it was as clean as it could be!

Here are some new photos. They make a difference even when the lighting conditions are good (as pictured here).

Wait, wait, wait. So the chrono pack includes 3 lenses?

    Yep...

Standard 1st gen, one small one large
    Nav 1st gen, two small
Chrono 1st gen, two small, one large
2nd Gen, one small for tach

2nd Gen Cabrio One Small, one very small (openometer)
2nd Gen Speedo (very large with plastic button thing integrated).

If you have questions about this, you can e-mail me at [email protected] or Richard directly, [email protected] (that's a good way to contact him about upgrades to the latest and greatest as well, if you have the first A/R material.)

If you're asking whether the price includes all 3 lenses, yes it does. BlimeyCabrio (and a few others) currently have 3 piece chrono sets with the original A/R lenses.

Very cool. Definitely will be doing this. Right after I get my Christmas (Hanukkah for you, Nate) shopping done.

It really is awesome stuff. It's like looking through AIR. Not city air, either. Real air.

So what's this "nominal" upgrade price for us owners of the originals?

I haven't finalized details and I will send e-mails to everybody who have the original version. I appreciate the interest of those who participated in the original release and I intend to make it a good deal.

How do these look with polarized sunglasses?

They work great with polarized sunglasses. The lens material is unpolarized. I use polarized sunglasses myself.

These are great, I've got a set in all three locations in my chrono-equipped car and the improvement is amazing, the downside is they're so clear you tend to want to touch the lens to make sure there's a lens in place.

Haven't seen any prices? I have an 03 without nav or chrono. Just two gauges, the big central speedo & the single rpm gauge over the steering wheel. Thanks.

$59.95 for the 1st gen tach and central speedo

New flat rate shipping is $5. There's sales tax if you're in California...
