Screw MINI. My Roadster finished production days ago, but still sits in Southampton. Others finished production the same time and left England today. I'm not even assigned a ship. The MINI Owner's Lounge status just changed to "awaiting transport". When the wholly ineffective MINI OL reflects your correct status, you know things are bad. With any luck, I'll transition from extreme irritation to pure apathy. Forgive my rant, my patience is thin.

The waiting is a killer. Try 866-ask-mini or better yet call your motoring advisor to check in their system. The on line info lags the current status. For example, on line said my car was waiting at the port when in fact it was on the water already.

Two days ago, my MA and ASK MINI reported the Roadster "awaiting transport" which, for once, coincides with today's MINI Owner's Lounge information. It wouldn't bother me so much if other cars produced simultaneously weren't already crossing the Atlantic. I'm happy for those guys and very disappointed with my own situation. I entered my VIN at the WW shipping site numerous times, but still come up "no records found". Thanks for the suggestions any way.

The new baby's ship just popped back up in tracking, just off the coast of Halifax. Will dock 1st thing tomorrow and then on to NY to bring my baby to his new home. YEA!
