    I will be posting lots of pictures. The dealer has been instructed NOT to touch the car. I will be spending Saturday and Sunday detailing the car.

    I'm curious about VDC processing time. My '14 S Roadster ships from Southampton tomorrow and arrives in Baltimore 10/3. The VDC is about one hour's drive from the MINI dealership.

    Your MINI arrived Wednesday and you're taking delivery Saturday morning. Do you know how long it took from port arrival to actually appear at your dealership? I'm trying to work out the logistics for my Roadster's arrival.

    Mine is a customer-ordered car, but I did take over a production slot previously allocated to MINI of Sterling. I'm not sure if that makes my Roadster "Priority 1" or not. MY MA said they usually get their vehicles within 2 days of arrival at the Baltimore VDC, but he never specified what "priority" my Roadster is.

    right on...mine has cleared customs and the VDC and is awaiting transport to the dealer...should be leaving monday

    We just clicked over 5000 miles on ours and couldn't be happier(well ok, it would have nice to have been cheaper !).
