It's disappointing how heavy all the OEM wheels are. On the flip side you rarely hear of them getting damaged.

I always wonder how durable, for street driving where all the potholes are, is a set of 17" or 18" rims sub-16lbs

 

I can't say for certain, but I would guess it would "when" would you damage one, rather "if" you would.

Yah I'm sure Volk would be super pleased to hear that MINI is trying to pass off their special "time attack" style as new and innovative 5 or 6 years after they debuted the original idea and 3 or 4 years after all the cheap replica companies drove the fad into the ground. :lol:

Guess MINI is just counting on their customer base not getting out much in the rest of the car world.

 

I guess that would be me, because I kind of like it. :lol:
