Actually, I kind of agree with their logic. They make a great hot hatch and tons of other cars. None make money except the trucks, SUV and Mustangs. I kind of see them as doing the Porsche model to a certain extent. They keep true to what people "like" about the ford brand. Trucks and Mustangs. The 4 door is kind of like the panamera... as I look at it more. Now I cannot believe I'm getting ready to say this as I hated the Panamera looks, but that 4 door mustang looks pretty decent. Not that I'm going to buy one..

Crashton Club CoordinatorHeck man nothing wrong with a live axle & cart springs. If it was good enough for the Roman chariots it should be good enough for you & me.

I raced an old Japanese crap wagon & that live axle & leaf springs were so much fun. Hit the bumps just right & the rear end would jump over a couple of feet tightening your line. Big fun if you knew it was coming. If not then the nomex undies might get skid mark.

Whine not Walnuts Active MemberI would think that the Germans have a similar process to Phase-Gate in conjunction with a Monte Carlo type cost analysis system relative to the launch process of a new product. As the managers move up in the system they become so indoctrinated with corporate drivel that if told the sky is green, they nod in acknowledgement.
I can just picture the BMW echelon all meeting with a Google type Beanie in Roundel color scheme upon their heads.
For some reason I just cannot picture Dave in a beanie . . . . . .-
