Hi, After meeting up with Mini'Mon over at DOS and being recommended to this forum, I have finally had time to post! I drive a 2011 JCW that I sort of fell into. After getting hit in my mazda3, I was asked by my doctor to hang up the motorcycle for about a year due to my back injuries, so I wanted a fun car. After trying out about 15 different cars, the last three were the JCW, Mustang GT and the Hyundai Genesis Coupe. All three were great cars and yeah, there may be more potential out of that american v8 for go fast, but after taking each on some windy roads, the mini just took my breath away. The car is fantastic and I love driving it! Over the next few years I'm hoping to build the car up into a fun little autox/track car and could use some help with recommendations. I fully understand that the most important mod is the driver and time behind the wheel is what will make me go fast, but direction on what to do is important too!
Welcome to M/A. Your assessment regarding driving skill improvement is spot on. Lots of great knowledge here and everyone is glad to help.
So MM, Do you JCW owners meet once every three years, to cut you wrists, become blood brothers & sisters, dance in the moon light, chant and praise your MINI's? :cornut: Jim
You folks are getting creepy now. At the next MOTD I think I'll bring some garlic, a cross and a silver bullet, just to be on the safe side. Jim
Welcome to Motoring Alliance fellow JCW owner!! JCW members are on the rise shhh. super secret organization.

:cornut: VERY NICE CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where are you at that you can display those license plates and not get ticketed? Jason
Sorry it took me some time to reply. That was right after I bought the car, so paper plate and tags. I bought the CravenSpeed mount so I didn't have to drill my bumper. I am saving up for the jcw body kit at some point.. I'm thinking of going two toned with black bumpers... thoughts?
Welcome. Yep adjust the nut behind the wheel first. I have a blast on track with my stock MCS. Send me your stock bumper when you swap to the JCW kit so I can have some brake ducting... :ihih:
