    My wife has a stock base 06, she won’t let me touch and loves it, only 83k. I had a 14 Cooper S, but traded it for a 17 Countryman S All4. Love our Mini cars. Only thing I ever did was put wheels and tires on them, otherwise just loved to drive them around.

    I have 3 Gen 1 MINIs...a bone stock '06 R53] that my wife drives daily, a slightly modded early '03 R50 that I show and take to the Dragon, and a well-modded '06 R53 that is my daily driver, track car and Dragon Slayer. My first car was a 1959 Morris Mini Minor...I drove it through my high school years in the early to mid '60s and have been Mini/MINI oriented ever since.
