Welcome to M/A Paulie. Your MCS has an N14 engine. Auto Zone is not a good place to source parts for your MINI.

I would use Detroit Tuned or even a dealer before Auto Zone.

Thanks for the warm welcome, and letting me know what engine she has. I actually ended up contacting the BMW dealer in Charlottesville to order the O ring. I had found the one I have is for the thermostat housing side, not the crossover tube. I was reading posts and everyone basically said what you all said, and that was get genuine parts... The tube is ok, but the O rings are crap. Hope when they get here I can get it changed and it won't leak anymore. I will keep you all updated.

I do like Advanced Auto Parts. Great place for oil, batteries & other car drugs. Justa not for MINI parts.

Javic 7 water pump sold buy generic parts stores....

That reminds me of the thermostat housing on a Gen 2 MCS. I did one for a friend of mine way back in the day and I remember it being a huge PITA... tubes and wires everywhere!

Welcome to MA! @Crashton is correct you have an the dreaded N14 motor. But so do I it’s a good motor but does require more attention.
Detroit Tuned and Out motoring are the best place for parts.
