Quick intro.. Always been infatuated with cars and racing. Had the opportunity to test drive a 05 r53 in 2005. It was love at first test drive . Fast forward to 2011 and I just became the proud owner of a one owner weekender 2005 r53. Ironic. It took this long for the mini to be a good fit for my family lifestyle. Six years of honey-doin and a lot of mini dreamin. Bought mine from Century Mini/BMW of Greenville ,S.C. OK so here is how I went from zero minis to two minis. When I came out of the F and I office my wife had a BIG ole smile on her face. Evidently while I was taking care of business she was test driving a 2012 Mini Countryman S. She said I now know what the fuss is all about... I feel like a teenager again,lol. Needless to say our salesman was pleasantly surprised when I told him to work it up and be gentle. On a side note , Javier Escabar our salesman was the most pleasant , courteous, knowledgeable professional I have ever had the true pleasure of buying a car from. Alittle long winded ,but figured I would share the happiest car buying day of my life with you. Now , anybody interested in a Mercedes S500 and a Tahoe z71,lol..... Already made an appointment with Way of Waymotorworks,ATL. for some serious mods. Will post about that when I get the car back.. I really look forward to Way jazzing up my Mini..
