    Define 'corner'. Having concurrently owned my MINI and a C6 Z51 that had fairly sticky tires, I have to admit that the Vette was every bit the match of the MINI in some 'corners'.
    The Vette loved sweepers while the MINI was much better suited to tight stuff like the Dragon.
    Oddly enough, there were approximately nine folks in our local Corvette club who had MINIS as their daily driver or a spousal car.
