I misspoke in another thread as I thought my car had the Harmon-Kardon stereo system but after more research on line it seem the dealer misrepresented the stereo and it has The factory system but that's ok as the factory system sounds very good. And I can get the carbon fiber trim kit as it covers everything but the speaker surounds on the H-K system.
If you want to find out all the options your car was delivered with, the date of delivery, the delivering dealer and if there are any recalls give MINI a call 866-ASK-MINI
New MIN Cooper S R53 owner I contacted Roadshow MINI in Cordova,Tn. today and the parts guy said that I will need the Green gasket, top metal gasket, water pump( I'm going to change this and the thermostat and housing as he said the housing is plastic and would probably break when removed), and o-ring for the water pump. All this would cost me $310.58 but that my mechanic could get it cheaper as he has done business with them before, so now I have to start saving for the parts and the mechanic's work. I'm going to add a power steering pump fan protector when I do this for the supercharger and wait to do the oil service as I have another 7000+ miles till the service is due but will change the coolant.
New MIN Cooper S R53 owner I do know that it came with the leather interior and cold weather kit as it has the heated seats.
Welcome, I was curious if you were a old vet owner. The 50's had some great classic looks, the corvette was my favorite. I have a 2004 S mellow yellow. If you ever need some graphics for your new ride check out ClassiCove Decal. It all started with the corvette side cove. Have some fun with the Mini!!
Now that oldvet53 has been around ..... I love to look at pictures and look for those little things in the background. How about oldvet53's window decorations...Way better than any ADT sign. Love it.
