    Since y'all are clamoring for pics, here's what the Mini online configurator has to say:

    It will either look like that (except with an orange stripe on the roof) or it will have no stripe at all, if Mini can't deliver with the orange stripe. The dealer already knows that I'll refuse delivery if it has a red stripe, and they've assured me they will be more than happy to remove the stripe entirely and take the price off the "out the door" cost.

    Dealer says 7-8 weeks. Shouldn't be a problem; I waited longer for my WRX back in '02.

    Just got off the phone with my MA; the latest word is that my coupé is going to hit the port (port of NY) today. Looks like I should have it in about 2 weeks. Yay!

    However, there's no word on the JCW suspension (ordered with the car) yet; I'm betting it will be some weeks before it comes in at this point. Boo!
