Recently got a mini and am loving it. Has been a car I've wanted for a little while now. Dark Silver '09 MCS r56 It was in Hawaii before I owned it and in the 3 years the previous owner had it, they had only put on 12K miles, so basically new :biggrin5: Obv she needed to be motored more so she hopped a boat to the mainland...lol My previous car was an Audi A4 which I did enjoy, but I've already gotten more enjoyment out my Mini than the whole time I had the Audi. Tried to convince the wife to let me get the Coupe, but she was unable to find the 2 rear seats for our kids and it was a no go. Was kinda funny how I ended up getting it. It was time for the A4's 90K and the additional things it needed was adding up quick. My wife said, "How about we just trade it in for a Mini?" Before she even finished the sentence I was out the door on my way, lol. I'll get up some pics since I know you all love them so much. Happy to be a part of M/A and look forward to some great times motering. -Eric
blossom hill and snell area. the mini has been in hiding for a couple months due to a blown trans but should be up and running in a week or so.
I used to live over there.. townhouses across from where they have the x-mas tree "farm" on snell before I moved to Evergreen and now Almaden. Hope the tranny situation works out for ya!
Yep I know right where that is. I was by the football field at oak grove high school. I frequent almaden in my blue vw hatchback or my primer vw hatchback. My mini was maroon but is going through a color change this week
Wasn't sure what I wanted to do w/ my wheels, so I decided to plasti-dip them to see if I liked them in black (which I do). I think it turned out pretty well. Got her tinted as well.
