Hydro Seal, Banana Gloss, Hydro, and Epic are Prima's 4 waxes. Hydro Seal would be used in place of BG as much as Hydro or Epic could be used.

The main benefits for Hydro Seal are the durability of Epic with the ease of application of Hydro. It's only slightly more intense than Hydro, and much less than BG since there is no need to apply, haze, and wipe off.

Hydro Wash is necessary because HS won't bond properly when a polymer based soap is used first.

I also stock it in my store...though I haven't enabled them yet.

So Richard the layers would still be (Amigo), Epic, then Hydro Seal instead of BG/Hydro?

Or even Amigo then Hydro Seal.

Unlike Hydro which is most often used as a booster or maintenance wax, HS can replace Epic, and you can still top with BG/Hydro if desired.

Btw, I don't mean to detract from the new Hydro Seal but if waiting for Epic to dry is one of the things that you dislike the most, next time you apply Epic, let it dry for 10 or 15 minutes, then spray with Hydro (instead of Slick) and wipe the residue off. You'll have excellent results, nearly identical to letting it fully dry before wiping.

Thanks! Let us know when you get the new stuff up on your online store, I always buy from you.

I'm also about to pull the trigger on getting a foam cannon, have you tried the new soap with your foam canon yet? I've heard mystique doesn't foam very well so I was going to try Hyperwash instead.

I haven't tried foaming with Hydro Wash yet...I've only had samples of Hydro Seal so far. Hyper Wash has been the best and most affordable foaming soap so far. I will actually combine some Mystique with Hyper Wash to get the best of both worlds.

    Thanks for your support!!!

Richard, it will be interesting to hear your impressions of Hydro Seal on vinyl. It sounds like it would be ideal as long as it doesnt react negatively with the material

It goes over it just like Epic but even easier since it pretty much goes on clear. It goes over plastics too without any residue.

I just applied the Hydro Seal to the Mini. Went on so easy, and makes the car look wet. It's also super slippery like Slick. I think its a keeper.

Did you apply anything else under or over the Hyrdo Seal?

No. washed the car, then polished the car with Swirl, then applied the Hydro Seal.
