This is priced decently, and very easy to use...Might be buying one of these soon, much easier than using a standard scale or going to a weighing station.

Seems like a waste of money to me. If ya can't look at the combination to see what you've got going on, ya probably ought'a not be towing. Its not rocket science.

You can't tell tongue weight by just eyeballing it....Not only is it a safety concern, but proper tongue weight makes towing so much easier.

Me, I'd rather get the 10-15% total weight/ percentage tongue weight correct rather than guessing. It's worth 100 bucks to me (especially when you consider the cost of a nice trailer and a car you've dumper a fair amount of coin into), as incorrect tongue weight is potentially disastrous, especially when towing a relatively heavy object.

Much easier than using a weighing scale, or any scale for that matter, and if you're using a trailer to tow various things at various times of different weights, it's a nice thing to have.

This video has been shown on many car forums--it's a pretty good illustration of why you want to get your tongue weight right. The other one is the BMW on the trailer that flips everything over, including the car towing it...

Yeah, I'll measure my tongue weight.
