Would you be impressed to know then that in order to be on this forum on my phone, I've been standing one legged on a milk crate which is balanced on only one corner, with my left middle finger in my right nostril and a q-tip in each ear, playing Metallica's "Enter Sandman" on the kazoo in a vain attempt to maintain signal?

In reality you are looking around 190 with that list, still be a fun car though.
When the time comes, get an RMW shorty header... Expensive, but thats the cost of the best on the market. If you hold out long enough, I will be selling my shorty, and going to one of RMW's long tube race headers.
Coupling a shorty with the JCW exhaust system is good, just be sure to take the kink out!-

190?? Ouch! There are guys in Europe getting dynoed at 220 or more with just a cat-back exhaust, 15% reduction pulley, and CAI!! Either that or the MT guys are full of it. XP Oh well. That'll do. Haha. I'll just take a trip down to L.A. to get it dynoed.
Ohhh yes please. I can wait for that to come up for sale. I call ultra-early dibs on it.As long as it's not a droning mess, I'm all for it!!
Kink? What? Explain please.
1320 MINI ran a bunch of tests and found that you're loosing a few hp when you straight pipe an R53. I'll see if I can dig something up on it. It had something to do with lack of backpressure. Basically the exhaust works kind of like a vacuum, and you loose that with a straight pipe.
**EDIT** Looked through their blog and couldn't find anything on it. I swear it's true though! Hahaha-

I just know that I have been told by many to stick with the OEM coilpack and wires because the aftermarket ones don't play well with these cars. Especially once you start modding.

If you can make the meeting after 5 on the 11th that'll do. Even though its Veterans day, and I normally just sit around the house...
Golden is pretty close, we could just swing by my place afterwords.-

Maybe it's just me, but personally, I'd have a hard time entertaining the idea of purchasing a car from some chick who knows absolutely nothing about it, even if I did have ModFather (and his expertise) as a resource. That is, unless you're prepared to sink a lot of $$$ in it...
Sorry, I'm not meaning to be a party pooper. I guess I kinda just don't get this lady. :confused5:-

I would see if she can put you in touch with the previous owner. When I bought my Mini it had been moded and the dealer sent me a list of mods done by the first owner.

Best way to test it is on a test drive. Find a large shopping center or mall parking lot.
Go as far away from any other cars as you can and at a dead stop "Turn off the DSC" and give it some gas (3K) and release the clutch quickly while in first gear and do a little burn out. Don't do a 40 foot tire burner that creates a whole lot of smoke, just enough to leave tire marks.
If you look back and see two lines you have DSC.
My test is much more fun then looking it up on line.-

Welcome....you may find you future has already been modded....then you must decide what modds are worthy (some are for more to do something than make the car better...lots of that online...the fmic (anything but the gp) is an example of this!! Welcome!
