Oh we could totally start one! Hahaha. I LOVE neon green with purple.... Lol. Thanks for the welcome!
I have to admit, when the first F&F movie came out, I was driving an Integra with blue underbody lights, ginormous and clearly non-functional airplane wing spoiler, and hideous graphics (good for an extra 20+ hp!), but through years of not-so-painful rehab and professional mentoring, I have mended my ways...kinda.
Oh wow...really?! C'mon bro, you KNOW those rims are way too small!!! And where's the graphics? Gotta have the graphics! Kudos for the widebody and spoiler though. I don't see myself rolling to Cars and Coffee in this anytime soon. What is that...British Racing Bling?
Oh, that's easy to explain. You ran out of money for the rest of those performance mods halfway through. Toooooooooo funny.
Lol....now you're giving me too much credit. I bought the car this way. On eBay. My next mod is some hydros and 100 spoke Daytons
Ha ha... You're going to fit right in here! Thanks for the PM's, I am always up for helping somebody out. We just need to find you a MINI! Then, get together and make a well thought out plan of mods to get you what you want without chasing your tail like I did, or ending up with $3-$5K worth of parts that are useless or make things worse. (Also like I did!) Best thing you can do right now is research... Look up EVERYTHING you can think of, on all the forums. Think about what does what, what the main purpose of your MINI going to be, and how long you are planing to keep dumping money into the project. There isnt much out there for any part of an R53 that is fleabay Honda cheap, but you get what you pay for. All that being said, I live up in Thornton, and if you want to get together some time and talk shop, I will help with everything I know.
FTR......... don't give that @$$#@+ the "sir" treatment again. It goes straight to his head. But take his (and TheModFather's) advice to heart. They have been there. Done that. Sometimes twice. They aren't going to steer you wrong. And remember... anything worth doing, is worth doing right the first time. (It's cheaper than doing it twice.)
I have a request....or maybe more of an idea...you can make that car into a "donk" mini....aka like 22+ inch rims..lol...think a gold crown on the dash...a few other mods...would be a interesting mini!! Lol
Awwww shucks. Ya'll are just too sweet. Hahaha. To TheModFather, aye, that's what I've been doing the past two years. I feel like I could talk MINIs better than most enthusiasts at this point. XD And I'll probably have a good sit-down with myself to properly asses my priorities for that car the second I grab one. Haha. Me and the MINI will have a severe chat about proper spending habits. I appreciate it! I'm in Monument, but once I've got myself a MINI I'll definitely pop up there at some point for a good chat/drive. I've been in Martial Arts for so long that I've taken to calling everyone sir. ;P Sooooo that's pretty normal coming from me. I must say, I like you lot better than MU or MT (But don't tell them I said that) Lol.
Hahaha. Funny. ;P They're getting me some advice on Meth injection (Yes, I'm looking into it, Dave.0). Where is RMW located? I'd love to get a tune from them at some point, since they seem pretty well-liked by everyone. I went to their site, and I couldn't find the location....
Irvine, CA. But he travels around a lot too. (Just to clarify... he goes around for dyno days/tuning parties around the country)
I have been trying to get Jan out here for a few years... Just cant seem to fill the slots needed for him to justify the trip. Maybe some day.
Who is "they" MU ? A couple of people have a clue on MU but most of them are idiots. Jan is RMW and if you want more info just sign up for his forum. Lots of information on the RMW boards and Jeff Howerton is also a member and he is the owner of Howerton engineering which makes the best Meth kit.
Maxmini, right now. But I've got a thread that I started today on it. He seems to know what he's doing.
