Yes but neither will lifting. Sort of damned if you damned if you don't scenario. Porsche has worked long & hard to hone the handling on their cars. Driving a friends 996 which is rear engined I was pleased to find how balanced the handling was. The Cayman being mid-engined will be even more so.
For those of you who know me from over on NAM, I had to let you know that the world is still in balance... the new car was completely detailed last weekend... all rubber inside and out treated, glass polished, claybar, paint polish, 4 coats of Zaino (AIO, 2xZ5, Z2) and the leather cleaned and conditioned. My neighbors now know that I'm crazy and I've met a whole lot of them while working in the garage (I now live in a condo, so there is a fair amount of foot traffic).
I went out for my first PCA event last weekend... a 5 club run through Yosemite and the twisty roads in the Sierra Mountains near Mammoth Lake, CA. I finally got some good pics! The Lambo may be Angelina Jolie (beautiful, angular), but the Cayman is Megan Fox (beautiful, curvy)!
The Cayman may be M. Fox in beauty, but let's just hope it doesn't get the attitude along with it...........
A Cayman was on my radar before I test drove the MINI I bought. I like the comment made on an earlier post by a former Cayman owner. The MINI gives you 8/10 the fun for 1/3 the price.
