Wrong, my friend, very wrong. There are two "D" rings on the right side of the, so called English saddle, by the cantle. These are for attaching a small leather pouch that holds your flask. We start off every fox hunt with a toast (or two or three) and everyone passes their flasks around everytime we stop. I can honestly say that once I was tipsey, before we even started. Very civilized sport indeed. :cornut:

How about a nice black short sleeve T ""WITH A POCKET""

There are some of us that need a pocket Tee to carry our inhalers in. It's hard to believe I drive a Mini JCW and have to buy Corvette Tee shirts to have a pocket.

If you decide to do a pocket Tee don't get those stupid European sleeves that one size fits all. They really suck. Get a nice Fruit of the loom or Hanes beefy-Tee. They are sized S,M,Lg, Xl & XXl and worth buying.

    Beer Belly?

Nothing so mundane. I have an ale and Stout belly. Is that where Stout came from? Still voting for Rugby.

In the 20+ years I've ridden to hounds we have not caught one. We just blissfully try to kill ourselves, while the fox makes us look stupid. Did I mention we drink a lot? :D

I think the bowling shirt would be a good option. Since it can be worn with a shirt or without another shirt underneath.

If the long sleeve tee is selected I'll try to find one with a pocket. No one size fits all here either, since they don't.

    I'd consider doing two shirts.

    1. Long sleeve, lightweight T-shirt--would be great for HPDE's. (Still want a M/A short-sleeve in white though too).

    2. As for the second, it's a close one between the Rugby and the Bowling shirt. I like the idea of the funkiness of the Bowling shirt, but in the end, the practicality of a Rugby shirt kind of wins out. Maybe save the short sleeve polo for next spring.

What happened here? I lay down for an afternoon nap, and the bowling shirt has practically lost it's lead. Come on you bowlers, get out there and vote.

So when does this poll end?

    Ahhhh..... how about NOW:ihih:

Hey, only 53 members have voted out of 2000+, what's up with you people?

So if you have ever held a bowling ball in your hand before, or worn a pair of those geriatric shoes with no arch support, what shirt might you have in your closet?? Huh? Well it's time you need another.:arf:

Hey, all the new Irish members....... Let's bowel for Ireland....... What kind of shirt are WE going to wear that day? Yep, it's going to be that great looking M/A BOWLING shirt.

Hey Richard, working on putting that great shine on that HUGE Bentley? Don't wear a tight fitting long sleeve "T", or sweaty Rugby shirt (forget the polo, no one wears those anymore), go with that nice loose, open, M/A BOWlING shirt. Get some extra for your gals, they will thank you for them (we sure will).:D

Eh.... all you Canukes, get some Cali Cool, and go with that M/A Bowling shirt.... Eh?

Hey all you Brits...... The story going around has your Irish neighbors planning on ordering up a bunch of M/A bowling shirts when they become available, for that next bowling tournament, don't let them get all the glory. Same thing for you Scott's. Hey, I even have played golf once, so how about reciprocating and vote for that M/A bowling shirt?

    OK...... I'm done now.......

Nah.... Get a Polo shirt, then you have to get a Polo horse to go along with it. Horses are expensive, don't do it. Ask me how I know.

Get a bowling shirt, all the other accessories you can just rent at the local bowling alley. Much cheaper than the polo route. Just vote for the shirt..... Trust me..... no one will know you're not a bowler.

If you are worried about it, just hang a pair of bowling shoes from your MINI's rear view mirror, when you are out cruising in your new M/A Bowling shirt. No one will question it. Trust me......:D
