    I don't know, odd things are afoot. I'll be posting about that later.

    Only had one tire put on in Indy to replace the one with a cut in the sidewall. As I needed something quick it was close to the correct size. Later that day is was given a tire of the correct size by and Indy local, However, it was the wrong type and it was fairly new so the car had a little bit of push to the right. This newer tire was on the left rear.

    The other 3 were pretty close to being worn before I left so it made sense to get a new set. I've wanted to try these AD-08's and between the rebate, instant discount and MM.org discount we have locally at select Discount Tires it just made sense to do it now.

    They look sharp on the car, it is raining here now so I can't tell how they stick, besides they need a few 100 miles to scrub in and wear off the mold release.

    you should mount them on some new wheels, just to keep your record intact!

    Friend just insgtalled these on a miata and likes them quite a bit. Before this he was on some kuhmo XSs and actually prefers the yokos. B/C of that I may giving them a spin to compare to the star specs I had. All this to just say; good choice!

    What size tires? And what are the specs on the wheels they are being mounted to?

    Wheels are Work VS-XX polished lip, anthracite centers with black hardware as seen in my Wheel Rack entry.

    I'd be interested in how these compare to direzza's. I've been on direzza's for a couple of years now and would like to try something new.

    They wear much quicker the the Bridgestone RE-01Rs, so not that good of a daily driver tire... however they do stick quite nicely.

    I'm about half way through a set with about 8k miles on them. No opportunities to get on the track this time, but others have also mentioned how they like them.

    I think there's an actual thread on the AD-08s here somewhere :Thumbsup:

    I think the Yoko's look really nice, but I opted for the lower priced Hankook Ventus V12s which were also recommended by several on MM.org. Getting them put on Saturday. Also at the same friendly Discount Tire location. 215 45 17

    Love my ADO8s, much stickier than my old REO1rs and they are lighter but......I don't run them everyday, keep them on a set of light wheels for track days and hitting the twisties! Not a daily driver tire unless you like buying tires often.

    Had a bit of rain yesterday, just quick downpour thunderstorms but I went out to see how the wet performance is. That was fun :yesnod: Sure are some sticky tires, even when wet.

    From my time with them on the track Nathan, they don't like as much air as some tires and are sensitive to small changes in pressure. Keep up with them and don't be afraid to take air out between sessions... Do that and you can really punish them without the give up of some I've run..... much quicker turn in too than my previous REO1Rs. 2 cents

    Update: I really like these tires. For me they are quite good, the grip levels on the street are insane. They feel great, respond quickly and stick like glue. Not sure if I would use them on a daily driver due to the cost. Also have no idea how they work in cold weather but to me these are not issues. It doesn't often get very cold here in North Texas. My commute is not like most either, my biggest obstacle is making sure I don't overfill the coffee cup so not to spill in the carpet as I navigate around the ottoman in my trek across the living room to my office.

    Yeah, nice specs on that tire. I believe many use it as their street/track combo tire given a treadwear of 180. I bet it is pretty sticky.

    FYI, DO NOT use these in ice/snow, because they will flat out not work. I do no speak from direct experience with these tires, but rather my star specs. Considering they are in the same category, i suspect they would act very much alike; might as well put round stones on the car.
