Gives a sense of speed through the corner, which I think we can all appreciate to some level. ;)

    Jeesh Nathan..........
I was totally expecting to see some super secret, skunk works, exhaust header that you added to Gnatster.

Oh........ By the way, did anyone notice the new header...... Nice Nathan:D

By the way....... I always thought it was pretty interesting how Motoringfile would change their header picture. Keeps it fresh and interesting. I assume that they load a bunch of MINI pictures into a file and the software shuffles through them???? Something to consider?

Definitely an improvement, makes the site look a little more sophisticated. Metalman's suggestion would make it even better, if it's doable.

This is something I do want to experiment with. It is a little more complex to do that here as the header is made of three elements. I already have some code to rotate a fixed with header made of one element, the degree of difficulty is adapting that code to randomly select one of the elements and then bring in the 2 other parts associated with it.

I love the pic and the blur effect that will widden to fit the window. That's nice design.

I'm a stickler for font continuity, though... The "Motoring Alliance" is part of your brand. I wouldn't have changed the font on that, as it's like redesigning your logo every time you change the header. The western font works on the "This is MINI Country" tag, though. On the tag line, the font helps set a scene and tell a story.

I like the idea, just not to keen on the brightness of the green. Maybe a more fall foliage to the leaves and the blur would be less harsh.

I think a well designed header can really help the engine breathe better, so yeah +1 for having a header. :p

Oh yeah, it looks like there is some new image at the top of every page. I like that too, not as much as having a header though. And why are they driving on the wrong side of the road?

While the photo is great, I found the old header to match the MA logo better...

Main thing is the site still has all the great info in it.

Took you guys long enough! I figured that would have been the first thing noticed. I had to mirror the image to get the cars heading the "right" way.

    :D

I haven't been in my MINI long enough to amass a huge collection of photos yet. I am working on it, tho!

    Sorry!
